Hello My Loves!
So how to highlight & contour has been all the rage lately. There are numerous posts and videos on highlighting and contouring, but I actually recorded a video for you guys that will be up later today. The best description came from Cosmopolitan magazine, when they described highlighting and contouring as chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream which are best served together. When you only put foundation on your face, you can look very one-dimensional, if that makes any sense.
Highlighting and contouring brings definition back into your face. Highlighting is for the highest points of your face and accentuate those features. That includes your forehead, chin, nose, and cupid’s bow. Contouring is used to define and reshape your face. This would include your cheekbones, your jawline, and forehead. Depending on your face shape, there are different ways to highlight and contour. I provide you with a way that ladies with heart-shaped faces can highlight and contour.
The products I use are Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Palette in Deep to contour and I set the cream with Mac Blunt blush. I highlighted with LA Girl Pro Concealer in Fawn and Wet-n-Wild Photofocus Concealer in Cocoa. I set my highlight with my famous Sacha Buttercup Cosmetics.
